From the Classroom to the Statehouse:

Standing Up for All of Us.

  • For too long, policymakers in Columbus have starved local communities of the resources they need to keep our streets safe and our neighborhoods livable for residents of all ages. I will fight for the resources necessary to maintain and improve our roads, parks, libraries, schools, senior programs, and public safety services that are so essential here in Cuyahoga County and across Ohio.

  • Recent spikes in property values and resulting increases in property taxes have made it difficult for some of our neighbors to stay in their homes. This problem was created by state lawmakers as a result of inadequate state funding for schools and local governments and a systematic shift in the tax load from the wealthy and corporations to residential homeowners. It’s time for the state to provide meaningful tax relief to those who need it while protecting the schools and local services we all depend on.

  • State government plays an essential role in ensuring children, the elderly, and all other Ohioans are able to access the care they need to live healthy, productive lives. I will fight to improve healthcare accessibility and affordability and better outcomes for our communities.

  • Our quality of life depends on being good stewards of our natural resources. To have safe, healthy, thriving communities, we need strong public policy that fosters economic growth and care for our planet. I will advocate for responsible laws that ensure sustainability for us, our children, and our grandchildren well into the future.

  • State government should never stand in the way of freedom for people from all backgrounds to flourish. I will fight to ensure the ideals of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution are reflected in our laws and policies so the American dream is achievable for everyone.
